ALBERTO

Sport as a way to live.

Alberto is a man whose life has turned around the sport. Although the multiple sclerosis has forced him to resign to some of his dreams. Alberto has decided that this does not restrain him and to continue practicing new and exciting sports.

"Due to my Sclerosis I lost abilities acquired during so many years of practices.

I had to leave the hockey after 14 years which I got to play for the honor division and the pre-European. I was practicing ice hockey but for the same reasons I had to leave it".

"To part that my physical stability (balance) was already in very bad serious conditions. I have much certainty in my personal fight and nonabandonment until the evidence is able to beat me".

"I decided to begin in this of the scaling, what better challenge than to apply all  my knowledge learned in by far effort and dedication in these years  doing something amusing  and that takes care of my sclerosis".

Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis, or MS, is a long-lasting disease that can affect your brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves in your eyes. It can cause problems with vision, balance, muscle control, and other basic body functions.

The effects are often different for everyone who has the disease. Some people have mild symptoms and don’t need treatment. Others will have trouble getting around and doing daily tasks.

MS happens when your immune system attacks a fatty material called myelin, which wraps around your nerve fibers to protect them. Without this outer shell, your nerves become damaged. Scar tissue may form.

The damage means your brain can’t send signals through your body correctly. Your nerves also don’t work as they should to help you move and feel.
